Modern Rustic

Good Morning! So lately I have been thinking about what modern rustic really is.  I believe it is probably different to different people but below are my thoughts on what it is.   My favorite thing to do is place rustic accents in the same room with modern furniture or details.    What are your thoughts of rustic modern? Does that term exist? haha

Happy Thursday! Today I was starting a blog about Rustic Interiors and then I started looking through photos of our wedding in August of 2009 and just loved them so I decided to share them first.  Just a few fun photos. I think in another life and if I had a lot more energy I would love to be an event planner.  Our wedding was such a blast to plan and attend.  Have a great day!

Home Office

One of the spaces I got for the Symphony Showhouse is the Kitchen/Home office.  So I have been on lots of blogs and looked at lots of pictures of great offices.  This makes me realize that my office needs a lot of help.  So I wanted to share with you a couple of my favorite offices.

I love this office! I carry this company in the shop and love everything they offer.  Canvas/Ochre is the company name.

I love the pops of orange, I might have to incorporate that idea. 

Anyways, you will have to come see the Showhouse in the Spring to know what it will all turn out like.
