Kitchen Obsessed

So in this new year I have been doing a lot of kitchen designing and pinning.  I have a couple
of clients starting the kitchen renovation or building.  I have to say it is one of my most favorite spaces.

I love the non cabinet island.  The old table that you decided to turn into an island.
Then who doesnt love a cabinet island for all your things. 
I love the white kitchen, I love the gray kitchen, and how cool is the black and white
kitchen above.
So I guess im glad that I dont have to make these decisions for myself and just for others.
Somehow it is easier.  Doesnt it make you want to cook!  Or at least to have friend over to all
gather around the island with a glass of wine!
Well I could go on about the Kitchen but for now it is my most favorite room.  Until
Spring, when im sure it will be the porch!

We had a great turn out on Sunday for the First Place Passion Stroll so thanks to everyone who participated.  There is still "A Night for the Young and Savvy" coming up on Friday February 3rd.  Tickets are on sale at Scout for $40.  The Inspiration House will be on tour Sunday January 29th through February 12th.  Admission is included in the Tour of Homes and CAS Admission Ticket or you can pay $10 at the door for just the tour of the Inspiration House.

Also, its never too soon to start your Valentine's Day Shopping, great jewelry and then some.

New Year!

I know its been a long time but blogging is one of my new years resolutions, as I am sure with lots of other people.  Ryan and I had a fabulous time in Texas for Christmas & New Years.
We went to Fredricksburg where Ryans parents bought a piece of property and are designing a home!

  Such a wonderful time, sad it is already over.  We had a great holiday but we were excited to start the new year with very exciting things happening at Scout!
 We have some great new projects, a new house, renovations, & a Showhouse!  Allison Harper and I are doing the Nursery in the Inspiration House on Andrews Drive. http://blog.cathedralantiques.org/featured/dont-miss-2011-inspiration-house/
Ryan & my house is on tour next Sunday along with 4 others in Garden Hills & Peachtree Hills.  If you go on the stroll you also get to cap off the event by seeing the Inspiration House before it even opens! We have tickets for sale at Scout for $20 a ticket.  It also includes drinks and food at the Inspiration House afterward.

We are also host on the first "A Night for the Young & Savvy!"  It should be a great event on February 3rd.
Vendors are bringing lots of great deals! We are selling those tickets too, $40 a person for drinks and food and hopefully find some great pieces!
