Layer Up

Fashion Bloggers are all blogging about "Layering your way into Fall," but this saying works for Interiors as well.  A great way to "Layer" a room is by adding a Throw Blanket.  Throws add depth to your room, and they are an in expensive way to add a pop of color or mute a loud piece of furniture.  In these colder times, they also serve as practical purposes.  Here are a few examples-

Right now we are stocked up on throws at Scout for the Home.  Here are a few of my favorites we have sold before-

From left to right, top to bottom-
1) Herringbone Throw 2) Green Wool Throw 3) Candy Stripe Throw Cream/Stone 4) Matteo Knot Throw 5) Candy Stripe Throw Cream/Slate
1-3 are in the store now!

Just for fun, while we are on the subject of "Layering"... here are three fall fashion looks I love from Pinterest-

Have a great weekend, and don't forget to "Layer Up"!

Southern Living Idea House

Have you seen or visited this year's Southern Living Idea House?  Two of our upholstered pieces are in the House!

First the Copley Slip-covered Sofa-

Second the Spool Chair-

If the Spool Chairs look familiar to you, you have seen them before.  Remember the Lake House I am working on?  I used them in the Breakfast room-

And.. we are off!

Ryan and I are headed on a two week get away to Paris and Belgium!
Our first stop is Paris-

For the most part, our agenda consists of eating, drinking, sight seeing, and flea marketing.  Every morning, I hope to wake up to this-

Wishful thinking, but I know we will eat and drink our way through France...

And when finished, we will head off to Belgium...

I have posts lined up for when I am gone, but when I return, you will see a few highlights from our trip!
